Banner Making: From Envision to Completion
INTRODUCTION TO BANNERS:
For over twenty-five years we've been making banners, and in that time we have come across all types, sizes, colors and shapes. We have fielded quite an array of questions from thousands of banner buyers from all over the world. The most simple question we answer, and also the most fundamental one is; How do I buy a banner? That one's simple to answer, right?
To a professional banner maker this seems simple; choose the material, have your graphic artist produce a layout, and with the right equipment the perfect banner magically appears. However, to the consumer, the processes and know-how that are required from the envisioning of the banner design to the installation of the banner can easily become confusing.
What we've attempted to do in the following pages is to take some of the ambiguity out of the process of buying a banner by describing some of the choices we make, as well as the processes involved from envision to completion. We will go step-by-step through the decisions a banner consumer will be faced with, such as choosing the right type of banner for the right type of use. Hopefully, this will take some of the mystery out of your next banner purchase.
