Need a oversized banner?

Our Dura-Tuf vinyl banners are used for extra-large digital banner prints over 52" in height. These grand scale banners are utilized for billboard prints, over-the-street banners, tradeshow banners, building banners and more. Dura-tuf banners can be printed at any size and used indoors or outdoors for continual year-round use.

Dura-tuf banners are meant to grab attention from those near and far whether they incorporate simple information in the form of lettering or with full color larger-than-life graphics. These digital banners can be produced at enormous sizes upwards of 16 feet in height without having to be seamed together. Dura-tuf banners are normally single-sided prints, but can be manufactured to be a double-sided banner with matching or differing images on either side.

These extra-rugged banners are printed on 13 oz. white glossy vinyl banner material and are designed for both indoor and outdoor use. The longevity of these banners depends on their care, but they normally last for 3 - 5 years, and maybe more. Dura-tuf vinyl banners are produced on large format printers, that make use of fade resistant eco-solvent inks, for beautiful and vibrant digital prints in a grand billboard format. These banners all come with stitched hems and grommets. DURA-TUF BANNER SPECS:

Material: Printed on durable 13oz. nylon reinforced banner material. These heavy duty banners can be printed to any size.
Durability: These rugged heavyweight banners specifically used for durable long lasting outdoor or large-scale use. These banners are printed on grand format billboard sized printers. Using solvent based inks, these banners are durable up to 3+ years of continuous outdoor use.
Finishing: These banners are printed, cut to size, double stitched hemmed along all four sides. Grommets (brass eyelets) come standard and are placed every 2-2 1/2 feet along all sides of banners. Additional options include heavier weight banner fabric, additional reinforcement along edges and corners, additional grommets, and other hardware. Turn-Around Time: Since these banners are very large in size and require stitching for completion, they take a bit longer than our standard banners to produce. Dura-tuf production times usually run around 5 - 7 business days depending on the size of the order. The higher the quantity the more production time will need to be added.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

At what size does a banner become extra-large?

Any banners that measure over 52" in height. Any banners under 52" in height can be digitally printed as a standard regular banner or a regular rugged banner signs.

What is differences does the over-sized banner offer over regular banners?

The only real difference between our regular banners (standard and standard rugged) and an over-sized banner, besides the size of the banner, is that the over-sized banners have a stitched hem with grommets placed approximately every 24" - 30" all the way around. Our standard banner options have straight cut edges with grommets in the corners (extra grommets can be ordered.)

Can I still order an over-sized banner even if my banner is shorter than 52"?

Absolutely. Even though both our standard banner products are just as good a banner, if you would like a stitched hem banner, you can most certainly order an over-sized banner at any size you need.

Do the stitched hems of an over-sized banner make these banners more durable?

Not necessarily. The stitching is basically to complete the look of the banner. When stitched banners are cut down to size they have some frayed edges that need to be hemmed so the banner doesn't fall apart. The hems help a little with strengthening the edges of the banner, but ultimately, both our regular banners (with straight cut non-fray edges) will hold up just as well as an over-size banner with stitched hems.

How long does an over-sized banner last?

Our over-sized outdoor banners are printed with eco-solvent, fade resistant UV inks that hold up well for at least 3 - 5 years in normal conditions. Keep in mind, when hanging your banner, that the more sun exposure a banner gets can limit the longevity of the print.
